ARCHLINE Nikolov Ltd. developed a complete investment project for a single-family house in the town of Chepelare, Smolyan Region, Bulgaria, designed as a contemporary interpretation of a modern mountain home. The project combines modern architecture, functional spatial organization and comfortable living spaces, adapted to the natural environment of the Rhodope Mountains. The project was created by ARCHLINE Nikolov – an architectural studio specializing in architectural design of houses, residential buildings and investment projects in Bulgaria. The main concept of the project is to create a modern mountain house that harmonizes with the surrounding landscape while providing high levels of comfort and functionality. Architectural Design of a House in Chepelare The house is designed as a single-family residential building on multiple levels, adapted to the sloped terrain of the site. This architectural approach allows for efficient use of the plot while maintaining a strong connection between the interior spaces and the outdoor environment. The architectural composition is defined by clean geometric forms, contemporary façade materials and large glazed openings, which provide abundant natural light and panoramic views of the surrounding mountain landscape. The house layout includes a spacious living area with kitchen and dining space, bedrooms, service rooms, terraces and a garage, creating a comfortable and functional residential environment. Complete Investment Project – All Engineering Disciplines The project was developed as a complete investment project for building permit approval, including all required engineering disciplines according to Bulgarian regulations: Architectural Design Structural Engineering Electrical Installations Water Supply and Sewer Systems Energy Efficiency Fire Safety Geodesy and Site Planning Health and Safety Plan This comprehensive approach ensures coordination between all project disciplines and an efficient preparation of the investment project for construction. Contemporary Mountain Architecture The façade design combines natural materials, stone cladding and modern architectural elements, creating harmony between the building and the mountain landscape of the Rhodope region. Large panoramic windows and terraces allow for spectacular views of the surrounding nature, which is a key element in the design of modern mountain and vacation homes.
